Sourcing Partner. Problem-solver. Firm believer that the right person changes everything - for the company, and for themselves.
I wanted to build something that had a real impact - not just for the companies hiring, but for the people they hire. The human touch was the whole point. Helping someone progress, at whatever stage of their journey they are at, is what gets me up in the morning.
"I wasn't cut out for HR. I once calculated how many people I'd have had to let go. Recruitment made more sense."
Recruitment has been in my lineage longer than I realised. My god-aunt ran a recruitment business. As a child I was always awe-inspired by her - without truly understanding what she did - until her company helped me get a job of my own. It landed differently after that.
I majored in Industrial and Organisational Psychology - one of my modules centred on organisational models including hiring and recruitment. That was pretty much the moment it was confirmed. That grounding is why I care as much about motivation, timing and fit as I do about the CV.
I honour and love God in everything I do. And my daughter has given me a whole new sense of purpose. Honestly - early parenthood and starting a business are not that different from each other. Both require patience, sleepless nights and complete faith that you know what you are doing. Mostly.
Almost a decade placing tech, product, design and commercial talent across Europe, the UK and South Africa. I keep my client list deliberately small - when you brief me, I am the one doing the search, start to finish. No handovers to a junior, no "account manager" buffer.
The Source International was built on the idea that great recruitment is a blend of rigour and relationship. I work with start-ups and scale-ups of up to roughly 500 people - companies where every hire genuinely matters.

The work is one part of it. Here is some of the rest.
The Memory Problem
I will watch a film, enjoy it, forget the entire plot, and watch it again like it is brand new. Concerning? Possibly. Efficient use of a streaming subscription? Absolutely.
My Three Kids
I have three children. Two of them are cats. The third is human and somehow the most chaotic of the three. I love them all equally. Mostly equally.
The Ice Cream Problem
Lactose intolerant. First to order ice cream. Every single time. At this point it is a personality trait I have accepted.
Theatre Person
I saw The Lion King at the Lyceum and Cabaret in the West End. Theatre might be my love language. The costumes, the story, the silence before the curtain rises - all of it.
Baking for Balance
I bake to decompress. It is part science, part patience, all creativity. I experiment until something is right, then I experiment again because it could be better. Recruitment has the same energy.
What Drives Everything
I honour and love God in everything I do. That shapes how I show up - for clients, for candidates, and for the business I am building.
